I found myself excited to continue reading and didn't want to put it down. The characters made it easy to become emotionally attached. Loved this book! Totally real to life which made it so wonderful to read. This book is one of my new #1 reads! Looking forward to reading "Fingerprints of God" and "Ride with Me" by this author. This is a great read. I couldn't put it down. The author takes instances from his life and mixes them in with fictional happenings. It's a book to read over and over again.
Great characters make for great stories. Beau is like the junior high best friend I remember from days gone by. His story made me reflect on my own life in between chuckles. Well worth picking up.
This book is beautifully written. I love the way the author describes the settings, e.g. "In that field sat a dense fog that rose several feet above the ground, thick as smoke and as ominous as a thundercloud."
I enjoyed reading Rearview Sunset. The author has a unique way of telling a story looking backwards and making you stay engaged until the end. Knowing the outcome didn't deter me from wanting to know the journey.
I'm not much of a reader but a good friend suggested this book and I'm glad he did. It is thoughtfully written as well as thought provoking. It really makes you think as Beau (the main character) travels though life, many times told through his memories. If your looking for a book that really puts life into perspective than pick this one up.
This book is a must read. It relates to everyday issues. I think anyone who reads this book, will find themselves reading about situations that have happened in their own lives. The story line is so good, that you will not be able to put this book down. You will feel the author's passion in every word he writes. When you are done with this book, you will be uplifted and your spirit will be healed.
Great book! It's been a while since I've read a well-written fiction book like this.
I think what I loved and appreciated most was how many of us have been down similar roads as this main character, we've just never had the words to describe it so well.
