As an avid world traveler, currently living in Asia and planning on visiting China in the near future, I found this to be an insightful glimpse into some of the political/social issues facing these three countries (China, Cuba, and Iran) in regards to burgeoning technology, specifically blogging.3 bloggers are highlighted. Each is quite different in their writings and their individual journeys. However,the author is able to find several important threads that tie them together. The most interesting that all three left their home countries only to return, and at a great risk to themselves.
The information is well-organized and several quotes from key blog entries are woven throughout, which is particularly useful for those unfamiliar with the bloggers.
Most importantly, however, after reading this pamphlet I felt that I learned something valuable and found myself ruminating about the subject for days after.
